  • DEP or DEC in manufacturing engineering, mechanical or a related field
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Good computer skills
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Strong understanding of Lean manufacturing principles
  • Excellent manual dexterity
  • Analytical mindset, autonomy and organizational skills
  • Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with different stakeholders
Responsibilities
  • Establish work methods and prepare adjustment sheets
  • Design, improve and optimize manufacturing processes
  • Analyze production methods to improve efficiency, quality and productivity
  • Develop and update work instructions, procedures and technical documents
  • Install, adjust and modify machines and production equipment
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of equipment reliability and performance
  • Design or modify jigs, assemblies and tooling required for production
  • Support activities to ensure equipment reliability
  • Coach and train operators during the implementation of new processes or equipment
  • Collaborate with production, engineering and quality teams to resolve technical issues
  • Participate in the installation of new equipment and improvement projects
  • Analyze production data to identify opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Participate in non-conformity investigations and recommend corrective actions
  • Contribute to compliance with quality, health and safety standards and standard operating procedures
  • Occasionally participate in production activities and inventory takes
