Requirements
  • Understanding of North America power industry
  • 1-3 years' experience in the power market, including familiarity with ISOs
  • Business oriented professional with strong intellect who can problem solve and perform complex analysis
  • Detail orientated self-starter with strong analytical, critical thinking and communication skills who can effectively manage multiple assignments
  • Ability to work independently
  • Organized individual who can plan and adjust to the timing challenges of multiple deadlines
  • Work in a team environment to achieve goals
  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
Responsibilities
  • Accurate and timely processing of invoicing/payments of all transactions and according to their legal agreements
  • Ensure ISO invoices are reconciled, processed, and paid on time
  • Provide support by performing invoicing as well as pre and post settlement reconciliations
  • Support curtailment process by working with direct upstream and downstream to resolve curtailments
  • Interact with external counterparties to resolve discrepancies
  • Interact with internal stakeholders as required including front office, middle office, or confirmations as needed to resolve discrepancies
  • Provide in depth analysis of variances between booked and client amounts
  • Participate in team and/or individual projects
  • Identify optimization and time saving opportunities
  • Work with other teams across the company to implement and improve processes and systems supporting the activities above
