Requirements
  • Excellent communication and conversation skills are a must.
  • Bachelor’s degree with experience in tech sales experience preferred.
  • Experience in outbound calling and engaging with disruptive technology based messaging.
  • Ability to make a high volume of outbound calls and communicate well with Tech Architects and CTO executives.
  • Have a good familiarity with technology and industry trends, especially in cloud native and data solution selling.
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop a list of target prospects and coordinate sales efforts
  • Identify potential leads, learn about their business challenges, and engage with them to understand their needs
  • Create demand using cold calls, emails, networking, and social selling to create a pipeline of warm leads
  • Use demand response (warm calling), demand management (managed follow up process) to nurture leads and effectively communicate the Yugabyte value proposition to secure sales meetings
  • Prepare clear, comprehensive account opportunity information for booked meetings
  • Continue to engage with the prospect during the early stages of the sales cycle to learn and improve your business development effectiveness
  • Use data analysis and research to assess the effectiveness of and improve campaigns
  • Accurately maintain customer information, contact and activity records
