As a Program Control Analyst, you’ll play a crucial part in ensuring the successful execution of complex government programs by monitoring, analyzing, and controlling various programmatic aspects, with the goal to make an impact across the federal government.

What you’ll do:
- Track program budgets, expenditures, and financial performance against established targets and prepare and deliver accurate financial reports, forecasts, and cost analyses to support program decision-making.
- Develop and maintain program schedules, ensuring alignment with project milestones and government guidelines; identify potential scheduling conflicts or delays and propose mitigation strategies.
- Identify and evaluate program risks, both financial and operational; and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop risk mitigation plans and monitor their implementation.
- Analyze program performance metrics, identify trends, and prepare performance reports.
- Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to address performance gaps, implement corrective actions, and assist in resource planning and allocation, ensuring that personnel, equipment, and materials are effectively distributed to support program goals.
- Ensure adherence to government regulations, contract terms, and reporting requirements.
- Conduct regular variance analyses to compare actual program performance against established baselines and facilitate clear and concise communication among project teams, stakeholders, and senior management.
- Prepare and present program status updates, reports, and presentations to ensure transparency and informed decision-making.
- Utilize historical data and trends to develop accurate forecasts for program costs, schedules, and resource needs; assist in developing budgets and resource plans for future program phases.
What you’ll need to succeed:
- A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Program Control Analyst, specifically supporting large government programs.
- Proficiency in program management software, such as Microsoft Project or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of financial analysis, budgeting, and cost control principles.
- Familiarity with government contracting regulations and compliance requirements.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Exceptional communication and presentation abilities, with the capacity to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented approach with a focus on accuracy and data integrity.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- TS//SCI with CI poly or TS//SCI with the ability to pass a CI poly
