  • Basic understanding of maritime operations.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with Marine Human Resources in India on ongoing crewing matters.
  • Maintain direct contact with officers from Kerala who are on leave and coordinate with the Mumbai office regarding their next assignment.
  • Maintain contact with seafarers' family members through Family Connect.
  • Assist officers with booking relevant in-house courses.
  • Assign tests and complete officers' promotion formalities.
  • Check relevant documents and prepare sea-time and employment-confirmation letters.
  • Prepare visa letters for seafarers as required.
  • Manage personal protective equipment stock, issue personal protective equipment to joiners as required, maintain adequate stock, conduct monthly inventories, and report to the accounts team.
  • Coordinate the conduct of in-house courses in Kochi.
  • Coordinate inward and outward courier shipments and maintain proper records of documents received and issued.
  • Assist and coordinate with the office, vendors, and seafarers to arrange TMSA and other seminars in Kochi.
