JOB INFORMATION:

POSITON SUMMARY:

Facilities Project Management is seeking a candidate to perform various project coordination and project management support functions, including coordination, oversight, monitoring project status and deliverables, and identifying project risks.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Coordinate project activities during construction and closeout in support of large public infrastructure projects.
• Monitor project status, deliverables, and outstanding actions to support schedules and resolve issues.
• Identify project issues and risks, including impacts to daily operations, and ensure timely escalation and resolution.
• Support inspections, walkthroughs, and field reviews during construction and closeout.
• Perform site observations, as required, to monitor construction activities and confirm that temporary barriers, signage, and customer walkways are safe and properly maintained.
• Coordinate with project teams, contractors, station operations staff (GSMs), maintenance groups, and other stakeholders to address field conditions and project-related concerns.
• Track and follow up on corrective actions identified during inspections and site observations until resolved.
• Process and coordinate required project approvals, such as operational access requests, inspection requests, and work authorization forms (e.g., GSM placards).
• Maintain project documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and up-to-date records.
• Ensure project activities follow established organizational requirements, standards, guidelines, and procedures.
• Support project closeout activities, including documentation and follow-up on outstanding items.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Analyst I & II Qualification Requirements

1. A master's degree from an accredited college or university in business administration, public administration, public policy, engineering, engineering technology, economics, architecture, mathematics, physics, computer science, finance, accounting, transportation planning, industrial psychology, urban planning/studies, human resources management, labor relations, operations research, security management or in a related area, or
2. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university and two years of satisfactory full-time professional experience working in budget administration, accounting, economic or financial administration, engineering, in management or methods of analysis, operations research, organization research or program evaluation, personnel or public administration, staff development, employment program planning or administration, security management; or general administration.

Associate Qualification Requirements

1. A master's degree from an accredited college or university in business administration, public administration, public policy, engineering, engineering technology, economics, architecture, mathematics, physics, computer science, finance, accounting, transportation planning, industrial psychology, urban planning/studies, human resources management, labor relations, operations research, security management or in a related area, and one year of full‐time satisfactory professional experience working in budget administration, accounting, economic or financial administration, engineering, in management or methods analysis, operations research, organizational research or program evaluation, personnel or public administration, staff development, employment program planning or administration, security management; or general administration; or
2. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university; and three years of satisfactory full-time experience as described in "1" above.

DESIRED SKILLS:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and ability to work effectively in a modern digital office environment to create, edit, organize, and share documents, spreadsheets, and presentations.
• Ability to use project management and tracking software to manage tasks, deadlines, action items, and project information (e.g., Monday.com).
• Ability to use collaboration and communication platforms to participate in meetings, coordinate work, and communicate with project teams (e.g., Microsoft Teams).
• Strong written communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear emails, project updates, summaries, and reports.
• Strong verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate clearly with multiple departments and participate effectively in meetings.
• Ability to prepare and deliver project updates and presentations for management and stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and track items through completion.
• Ability to learn and adapt to new systems and technologies as they are introduced.

SELECTION METHOD

Based on evaluation of education, skills, experience, interview, and written assessment.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Final salary is determined experience, skillset, and alignment with compensation practices. The posted range reflects expected compensation and may be updated as market or business needs evolve.
