Job Description

About the role:

• Casual Role
• You will be supporting the day-to-day operation of the kitchen through dishwashing and some food preparation
• You will insure there is a constant and sufficient supply of equipment and clean utensils to all outlets at all times. 
• You will be responsible for providing the highest level of attention to all aspects of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the Kitchen, including but not limited to cutlery, crockery and commercial equipment
• Recycling and removal of rubbish
• Assisting Chefs with food preparation as required
• Adhere to all sanitation and chemical use guidelines.
• Follow and adhere to all HACCAP hygiene, ALLSafe and WHS requirements.
• Work on a rotation roster, including AM, PM shifts on a 7 day rotation roster, including weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications

You may have previous experience in a similar fast paced environment. Regardless of your level of experience, there are a few things that would make you shine in this role, which include:

• Great energy and a “Find the YES!” positive attitude.
• Good time management skills and a willingness to learn.
• Ability to multi task will be essential to this role
• Professional, well-groomed appearance, demonstrating pride in presentation.
• Flexibility and ability to work a variety of shifts including days, nights, weekends and Public Holidays
• Experience in a similar role is ideal
• You might be a Commerical Cookery Student, looking to gain some practical experience
• You hold valid working rights for Australia
