Freedom Consulting Group is currently searching for an accomplished Senior Software Engineer with extensive proficiency in Kubernetes with Helm, AWS, Ansible, and scripting experience to work with us. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a new contract that runs through 2027 and provides support to essential services and mission-critical activities within the enterprise.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and enhance complex and diverse software systems based on documented requirements
- Work individually or as part of a team to deliver high-quality software solutions
- Review and test software components for adherence to design requirements and document test results
- Resolve software problem reports in a timely manner
- Utilize software development and design methodologies appropriate to the development environment
- Provide specific input to the software components of system design, including hardware/software trade-offs, software reuse, use of COTS/GOTS in place of new development, and requirements analysis and synthesis from system level to individual software components
Required Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
- Twenty (20) years’ experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
- Experience with the following:
- Kubernetes with Helm
- AWS
- Ansible
- Scripting
