Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years proven field experience in commercial HVAC/R or similar technical field
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in technical field preferred
  • Maintaining positive relationships with contractors and customers

  • Experience in quality control and commissioning is a benefit.
  • Working knowledge of the techniques, methods, tools, & safety precautions of the HVAC Installation trade.

Responsibilities
  • Acts as primary technical resource for the Technical Services team regarding Budderfly and Budderfly-installed technologies
  • Drives for updates from internal and external teams to ensure up-to-date information is available for the team
  • Continually monitor Technical Services ticket submissions to ensure quality resolution of reported issues in addition to potential technical gaps
  • Personally intervene on escalations to ensure swift resolution to unique and complex situations
  • Travel to customer sites on occasion to ensure quality control of issue resolution and to ensure best practices are established for preventing similar issues in the future
  • Site visits are to be utilized for discovery and feedback of technology or vendor performance gaps
  • Collaborate with Services Improvement Manager to create and maintain technical training documentation for the Technical Services team
  • Ensure utmost customer satisfaction (internal and external to Budderfly) throughout the Technical Services issue resolution process
  • Develop and monitor Technical Services team quality control of completed work (internal and external to Budderfly)
  • Review team members’ work to ensure quality meets established standards, techniques, and safety requirements; makes recommendations as requirements to improve quality and productivity.
  • Maintain communication with Technical Services team members to ensure learned best practices are conveyed quickly after development
  • Direct team members to meet service demands and customers’ expectations.
  • Designs, develops, indexes, and maintains process and technical documentation.
  • Promotes training opportunities and resources to employees.
  • Keeps daily logs and records of all functions in Company systems
  • Ability to travel (expected 25%) to customer sites for quality control and best practices development
