Requirements
  • Candidates must be detail-oriented and possess strong communication, technical, and administrative skills
  • A minimum of an Associates Degree in Accounting or Business Administration is required

  • A minimum of 1 year of solid work experience in a billing or accounting environment is also required

Responsibilities
  • Prepare monthly invoices for project managers using multiple modules in Costpoint
  • Follow up on billing adjustments and discrepancies with project managers and accounting staff
  • Maintain detailed files on all billing adjustments for audit
  • Assist the project managers and project assistants by providing needed data for the monthly progress reports and associated schedules
  • Work with the Assistant Controller to provide audit support related to the billing area to public and government auditors when needed
  • Respond to various requests for billing and project reporting information from project managers and project assistants
  • Log dates for each step of the billing cycle and any helpful notations
  • Assist with invoice submissions and late payment inquiries
