About The Role

Rippling is the system of record for employee data but it also connects many first and third party systems which run operations on top of or related to that platform. This includes, running payroll, device management, fraud detection on corporate cards and detecting and managing security incidents.

We need infrastructure to gather metrics and logs from all of these separate systems and allow our users to audit all the activities, extract trends, glean insights, visualize the data and react in near real time to potential threats or failures. The platform observability team is building this infrastructure for rippling.

What You’ll Do:

Work on distributed streaming systems for asynchronous compute.
Create data lakes, and data ingestion systems that work at scale.
Create stream processing systems to aggregate and summarize data.
Build business intelligence visualization systems.
Design, develop, code, and test software systems,
Leverage big data technologies like Temporal, Apache Kafka and Apache Flink.

Qualifications:

8+ years of professional work experience.
Experience working in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
Experience in building projects with good abstractions and architecture.
