We currently have an opportunity for an Insurance Assistant. The selected employee will be responsible for providing technical assistance and workflow support to the New England Healthcare team.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
Primary person to handle and obtain credentialing/loss reports from our insurance carriers, utilizing Loss Run Pro whenever possible, and handling outlier requests.
Process Medical Malpractice certificate of insurance requests.
Renew and maintain policies within EPIC (Agency Management System.
Maintain endorsements, cancellation/reinstatements, and audits in EPIC for commercial accounts. Update EPIC with requested changes in coverage or exposure.
Handle correspondence and the clerical processing of accounts including applications, attachment processes, and agency management system input as requested by the Servicing team.
Support Production and Servicing with prefilling applications and other specific assigned tasks.
Provide backup and overflow support to the Client Service Team.
Conduct business in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of both the business and earnings implications of the Company.
Other responsibilities as assigned by Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Related experience with commercial insurance
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
Excellent organizational, communications and project management skills.
