Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience in on-page and off-page SEO
  • Strong understanding of SEO principles, keyword research, and content optimization techniques
  • Expertise in SEO tools and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics (GA4), Google Search Console, SEMrush, ahrefs, Screaming Frog, AI Tools)
  • Proficiency in CMS management, especially WordPress
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with a passion for staying ahead of industry trends and exploring new opportunities
Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth research, competitive analysis, and market trends to inform overall SEO strategy.
  • Collaborate with content creators, copywriters, agencies, and editors to produce high-quality, unique, informative, SEO-friendly content that resonates with the target audience and addresses their most pressing questions, pain points, and needs.
  • Implement and/or review content briefs, ensure adherence to brand style guides, and optimization guidelines to ensure consistency and effectiveness across all content pieces.
  • Conduct comprehensive audits of existing content to resolve cannibalization issues and identify optimization opportunities, including keyword targeting, metadata updates, internal linking, page template updates, and multimedia integration.
  • Implement on-page and off-page SEO best practices to improve existing and new content assets' visibility, relevance, and engagement metrics.
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive SEO performance reports, including performance metrics, insights, and actionable recommendations.
  • Ensure our website has a healthy technical setup by optimizing website structure, navigation, internal linking, and monitoring Core Web Vitals metrics.
  • Implement technical optimizations such as schema markup, rich snippets, and metadata tags to provide search engines with relevant information about our content.
  • Monitor and address any technical issues, such as crawl errors and security vulnerabilities, to maintain a secure and accessible website.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest local SEO trends, search engine algorithm updates, new technology impacts, and industry best practices.
  • Use data-driven analysis to measure the success of SEO initiatives and inform future strategies.
  • Collaborate on CRO initiatives and test design to enhance user experience and drive conversion.
  • Evaluate partner websites from 3rd party agencies that are relevant to our industry for potential backlink opportunities.
  • Engage with 3rd party agencies on link building activities on a regular basis (article approvals, deadline reminders).
  • Monitor and manage our backlink profile via 3rd party tools to ensure it remains healthy and free from toxic or low quality links.
  • Thinking outside the box when it comes to finding new and innovative ways to acquire great links outside the existing methods we use.
