Requirements
  • Strong hands-on experience using artificial intelligence tools in design, 3D, creative production, automation, visualisation, or workflow improvement.
  • Strong understanding of 3D exhibition design, spatial design, experiential design, production design, architecture, industrial design, computational design, or a related field.
  • Practical experience using artificial intelligence for concept development, image generation, design iteration, workflow automation, prompt creation, research, documentation, or production improvement.
  • Confidence testing artificial intelligence tools and judging their usefulness, quality, accuracy, and usability.
  • Strong understanding of how exhibition concepts become buildable, documented, and installed environments.
  • Experience with 3D design, computer-aided design documentation, Revit or building information modeling workflows, production drawings, fabrication packs, or technical drawing systems.
  • Practical knowledge of materials, modular systems, custom fabrication, flooring, lighting, graphics, and installation logic.
  • Ability to structure information clearly so artificial intelligence tools can use it reliably.
  • Ability to create prompt libraries, workflows, templates, checklists, or repeatable design processes.
  • Ability to train designers and non-technical team members on new artificial intelligence tools and workflows.
  • Ability to apply human review, production logic, and commercial judgment to artificial intelligence outputs.
  • Practical experience creating structured prompts, prompt libraries, or artificial intelligence workflow templates.
  • Understanding of artificial intelligence hallucinations, inaccurate outputs, and over-reliance risks.
  • Experience building or contributing to artificial-intelligence-assisted systems, agents, automations, or knowledge bases.
Responsibilities
  • Lead the research, testing, and implementation of artificial intelligence tools for exhibition design, 3D concept development, design automation, and production workflows.
  • Build artificial-intelligence-assisted workflows that convert client briefs into practical exhibition stand concepts, layouts, design directions, and proposal content.
  • Use artificial intelligence to support ideation, moodboards, design rationale, render prompts, layout options, and concept refinement.
  • Explore how artificial intelligence can support computer-aided design, Revit, building information modeling, SketchUp, Rhino, 3D modeling, and production drawing workflows.
  • Create a structured artificial intelligence design knowledge base supporting design standards, rental inventory, modular systems, and production constraints.
  • Develop prompt libraries, artificial intelligence workflows, design templates, review checklists, quality-assurance steps, and standard operating procedures.
  • Test artificial intelligence tools and document what works, what does not work, and what should not be used.
  • Work with 3D designers, production designers, project managers, estimators, factory teams, and external artificial intelligence or automation specialists.
  • Train design and production team members to use artificial intelligence tools safely, consistently, and effectively.
  • Create safeguards ensuring artificial-intelligence-generated outputs are reviewed for buildability, accuracy, budget, modular-system logic, and production practicality.
  • Build a long-term roadmap for repeatable artificial-intelligence-assisted exhibition design and production drawing systems.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience combining artificial intelligence with tools such as computer-aided design, Revit, SketchUp, Rhino, Grasshopper, 3ds Max, Blender, Adobe tools, or other design software.
  • Experience with ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Midjourney, DALL·E, Stable Diffusion, Firefly, or similar artificial intelligence and image-generation tools.
  • Experience with artificial intelligence agents or artificial intelligence workflow automation tools.
  • Experience with prompt engineering or structured prompt libraries.
  • Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, 3ds Max, SketchUp, Rhino, Grasshopper, Blender, SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Vectorworks, or Dynamo.
  • Experience with computer-aided design automation, building information modeling automation, parametric design, generative design, computer numerical control workflows, or modular exhibition systems such as Aluvision, BeMatrix, or Octanorm.

Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • Expo Centric opened Manila in November 2024, expanding service reach across Southeast Asia.
  • SAE partnership and immersive student stands show stronger demand for interactive builds.
  • Two 2025 PMA nominations and 2026 finalist status reinforce pricing power and brand credibility.

What critics are saying

  • PACCAR remains a concentration risk; losing its 1,600-square-meter contract would hit revenue fast.
  • Expo Centric’s 2026 growth plan needs 100 hires; talent shortages can bottleneck delivery.
  • Event spending depends on client budgets; a weak exhibition cycle would pressure margins in 2026.

What makes Expo Centric unique

  • Stan Kruss built Expo Centric into Australia’s leading full-service experiential marketing agency.
  • The Philippines office in Ortigas Center gives local production access for APAC exhibitions.
  • 2026 Portable Modular Awards finalists for Axis Communications, Caltex, and Dematic signal design depth.
