Requirements
  • One year of full-time paid professional scheduling experience for an owner or general contractor, preferably on multiple educational facilities or public works projects.
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6 v19 and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A bachelor's degree from a recognized college or university in engineering, architecture, or construction management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to build efficient working relationships with project teams and department staff.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
Responsibilities
  • Work under the supervision of senior schedulers and project schedulers to provide construction schedule review comments for contractor-generated baseline schedules and monthly schedule updates based on Los Angeles Unified School District review templates.
  • Assist the scheduling team in creating and populating schedule-related reports in Microsoft Excel and Primavera P6.
  • Create earned value curves based on Los Angeles Unified School District earned value analysis template guidelines.
  • Perform quality assurance and quality control on contractors' schedule submittals for conformance with contract scope and requirements.
  • Analyze schedules for proper use of program-level standard codes, layouts, and reports to ensure data integrity.
  • Perform quality assurance and quality control on Primavera P6 program schedules and validate logic ties for conformance with scheduling guidelines across various project types.
  • Update the master program schedule with as-built start and finish dates while coordinating input from Facilities teams on projected or forecast sequential start and finish dates.
