Requirements
  • Interns must be pursuing an undergraduate bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, and/or Accounting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint is required.
  • Previous work terms are considered an asset.

Responsibilities
  • Assist and support senior team members with ad hoc and recurring projects involving gathering, consolidating, analyzing, and presenting company and commodity market data.
  • Assist in analyzing and developing Accounting initiatives and ideas to support Plains' asset and commodity logistics business.
  • Create and update reports using internal proprietary company data, commodity market data, Microsoft tools, Oracle, and SharePoint.
  • Use available technologies to support senior team members in creating more efficient and streamlined processes for analyzing and presenting data for business decisions.
  • Develop an understanding of the processes and overall function of the assigned business group.
  • Complete assigned tasks outlined at the beginning of the work term.
  • Complete and present an assigned project.
  • Attend internal and external meetings where applicable.
Desired Qualifications
  • Preference will be given to a student returning to university to finish their undergraduate degree following completion of the work term.

Plains All American appoints Cynthia B. Taylor to board after 19-year CEO tenure at Oil States

Plains All American Pipeline and Plains GP Holdings have appointed Cynthia B. Taylor as an independent member of the Board of Directors of PAA GP Holdings. She will serve in Class III and join the Compensation Committee and the Health, Safety, Environmental and Sustainability Committee. Taylor brings over 30 years of energy industry experience, having served as CEO and President of Oil States International from May 2007 until her retirement in May 2026. She previously held senior financial roles at L.E. Simmons & Associates and Cliffs Drilling Company, and was a director at the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas. Taylor currently serves on AT&T's board, chairing its audit committee.
