About the Role
The Project Management Office at Ogilvy Health is responsible for project execution, process improvement, budget management and resource management across the agency. Our Project Managers help to assemble and lead interdisciplinary teams, ensure adherence to workflow, schedules and budgets, and deliver with excellence for our clients. We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead a large-scale AOR account within the Pharma category. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented but maintains a big-picture mindset, loves to solve problems creatively, pushes for continual process improvement, and wants to mentor and manage junior team members.
What You’ll Do
- Manages $2MM-$5MM medium-to-high complexity projects from start-to-finish across a range of multi-channel project engagements
- Develops accurate and comprehensive estimates and project schedules for complex projects and programs
- Develop timelines for multichannel projects including timing for each step of the development process.
- May perform a client-facing role regarding details of timeline, budget or feasibility
- Acts as a subject-matter expert for agency delivery processes; shares knowledge, explains processes and creates awareness
- Mentors, trains and may directly supervise junior PM team members; review work product, estimates and timelines developed by junior team members
- Facilitates daily/weekly status meetings and creates status documentation for internal and external stakeholders as needed, ensuring all parties are kept abreast of action items, feedback, next steps
- Facilitates weekly review of financial health reports and provides recommendations to support budget management, forecasting and resource management
- Acts as project lead and liaison with vendors as necessary
What You’ll Need
- At least 4 years agency experience, specifically within healthcare communications, digital and/or creative realm
- Pharma Product Launch experience
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of all multichannel projects (project steps, capabilities, technologies, team responsibilities and skills, QA/QC processes)
- Smartsheet experience or similar web-based project management tool
