- At least 3 years of professional experience as a data scientist in a related tech/consumer field
- Technical competence in coding skills (such as R, Python, or Scala), experience with analytics and visualization tools (SQL, Tableau, ggplot/matplotlib or equivalent), and experience performing analysis with large datasets
- Significant expertise in experimentation and causal inference
- Develop research questions and conduct data analysis to understand internal usage of data products and their impact on Spotify’s users
- Design and analyze experiments and perform causal inference when A/B testing is not an option
- Evaluate the performance of ML models in online and offline settings
- Define, evaluate, and monitor key metrics
