Responsibilities
  • The NPI PM plays a pivotal role in driving full factory bring up and day to day operation management.
  • Effectively and regularly track, manage and communicate HW related program status, risks, dependencies, schedules and milestones to leadership teams.
  • In this role, as an individual contributor, you will be responsible for the NPI schedule and related milestones of taking a product from Prototype to Mass Production.
  • You will spearhead the coordination of design and implementation efforts, fostering collaboration across diverse teams to engineer optimal solutions.
  • You will dive deep to solve highly technical and complex strategic problems, get involved in design and architectural decision-making, and provide data-driven recommendations to improve the design and architecture.
  • Establish business processes and policies, as well as metrics and indicators for success.
  • Proactively identify and resolve strategic issues that may impair the team's ability to meet strategic, financial, and technical goals.
  • Conduct and document technical and operational risk assessments, drive tradeoffs and document decisions within and across teams.
  • Drives accountability for decisions and deliverables with cross functional teams throughout the NPI lifecycle.

More delivery robots are coming to Miami, and they may just deliver your next pizza or burger order.Serve Robotics, a sidewalk delivery company, announced that it is launching operations in the Miami metro area this year. Customers who order from locations of its partners Shake Shack or Mister O1 Extraordinary Pizza in the Brickell and Miami Beach neighborhoods with Uber Eats may receive their next order via Serve’s autonomous robots.This expansion builds on Serve’s multi-year growth in Los Angeles and its planned entry into the Dallas-Fort Worth market. Serve Robotics Ceo Sees Delivery Robots Transforming Last-Mile Logistics

Serve Robotics CEO Ali Kashani envisions autonomous delivery robots transforming urban logistics by optimizing the pickup and delivery of food and other products to lower the cost of last-mile delivery for businesses. This year, it is planning to deploy 2,000 Uber Eats delivery robots — further expanding in Los Angeles and looking to deploy in Dallas and other cities. Serve was spun out of Uber a year ago, after Uber acquired Postmates in 2020. Serve had been part of Postmates. Last year, the company announced a partnership with Uber Eats and Shake Shack to deliver in Los Angeles. Serve Robotics’ delivery bots currently traverse several Los Angeles neighborhoods, rolling on sidewalks to pick up food orders from 900 restaurants

Serve Robotics raises $80M for expansion

Serve Robotics, backed by Nvidia and Uber, has raised $80 million through a direct offering of 4.2 million shares from undisclosed institutional investors. This funding will support the expansion of its robot delivery services and sustain operations through 2026. Serve currently operates 100 robots in Los Angeles and plans to add 250 more by Q1 2025, aiming for a fleet of 2,000 robots in multiple US cities by year-end. In December 2024, Serve raised $86 million, totaling over $247 million in the past year.
