- Proven experience as a Microsoft Power BI Developer or Data Engineer
- Familiar with dimensional modeling
- Understanding of database management systems, ETL (Extract, transform, load) frameworks, and SQL language.
- Experience creating interactive reports and dashboards in Microsoft Power BI using the standard visuals
- Experience creating paginated reports in Microsoft Power BI, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) or similar report framework.
- Experience manipulating and cleaning data using Transform Data and Power Query M query formula language.
- Comfortable writing simple DAX expressions to build measures and calculated columns.
- Familiarity with Dynamics 365 & Dataverse
- Familiarity with Azure Synapse Link for Dataverse
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure
- Familiarity with source control and deployment pipelines
- Proven abilities to take initiative and be innovative
- Ability to demonstrate attention to detail and produce high quality, accurate reports from high-level requirements
- Analytical mind with a problem-solving aptitude
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Certification as Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate a plus
- Translate business needs to technical specifications
- Design, build, and deploy Microsoft Power BI interactive and paginated reports and semantic models.
- Evaluate, maintain, support, and improve existing Power BI reports and models
- Conduct integration testing and troubleshooting
- Collaborate with teams to integrate systems
- Develop and execute data queries and conduct analyses
- Create visualizations and reports for requested projects
- Develop and update technical documentation
