Physician – General Surgery

[email protected] Medical Group is recruiting a BE/BC General Surgeon with a niche interest in Breast Surgery to join our established, growing General Surgery team in Effingham, Illinois. Position Details:
- Monday – Friday clinic schedule with option of 4 day work week
- 7 days per month of hospital call
- Minimal after hours clinic call
- EPIC EMR
- Dedicated support staff with RN First Assist
- Robotics available for surgical cases
- Bread and butter general surgery with some portion of time spent focusing on breast surgery cases.

Position Requirements:
- Unrestricted Illinois license prior to start
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery
- M.D., D.O., or professional equivalent degree
- Surgeon must be willing and interested in having breast cases be a portion of their practice.

Pay Range: $466,975 - $582,878

Education Qualifications

• Clinical doctorate is required.

Experience Qualifications

• Competence in delivery of healthcare services for adolescents, adults and geriatric patients is required.

Certifications, Licenses and Registrations

• Licensed physician in the state of practice is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
• Maintain a Controlled Substance license for the state and Federal DEA, when applicable to their specialty.
• Must have successfully completed, or in the process of completing, an accredited residency program.
• Must be board certified or board eligible.
