Requirements
  • Two to four years of Human Resources experience with exposure to benefits, compensation, payroll, or HR operations.
  • Working knowledge of compensation and employee benefits administration.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with HRIS reporting and data management.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to build effective cross-functional partnerships.
Responsibilities
  • Support the administration of compensation programs, including job changes, promotions, market adjustments, and annual merit processes.
  • Prepare compensation worksheets, reports, and analysis for leadership review.
  • Maintain compensation records, salary structures, and job documentation within the HRIS.
  • Assist with market pricing research and salary survey participation.
  • Support the maintenance of job descriptions and organizational job architecture.
  • Ensure compensation transactions are processed accurately and timely.
  • Administer day-to-day employee benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, retirement, and wellness programs.
  • Respond to employee questions regarding benefits eligibility, enrollment, and coverage.
  • Assist with new hire enrollment, qualifying life events, and annual Open Enrollment activities.
  • Coordinate with benefit vendors to resolve participant issues.
  • Maintain benefit records and ensure accurate payroll deductions.
  • Support employee communications related to benefit programs.
  • Maintain employee compensation and benefits data within the HRIS.
  • Perform routine audits to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
  • Assist with preparing recurring reports and dashboards for Total Rewards metrics.
  • Support HRIS testing related to compensation and benefits system changes.
  • Assist in maintaining compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations, including ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, FLSA, and related requirements.
  • Maintain required documentation and records for audits.
  • Support preparation of annual compliance reporting and benefit filings.
  • Ensure confidentiality of employee compensation and benefit information.
  • Serve as a first point of contact for Total Rewards questions received through shared inboxes and HR service channels.
  • Provide customer service while resolving employee inquiries.
  • Escalate complex compensation or benefits issues as appropriate.
  • Assist in creating educational materials and employee communications.
  • Identify opportunities to improve Total Rewards processes and administrative efficiency.
  • Participate in implementation of new programs, system enhancements, and process automation.
  • Document standard operating procedures for Total Rewards activities.
  • Support special projects as assigned.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience administering employee benefits.
  • Healthcare or multi-state employer experience.
  • Experience using an HRIS, preferably UKG.
  • Experience supporting annual merit or Open Enrollment cycles.
  • Familiarity with ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, FLSA, and other employment regulations.
  • Experience working in a high-growth, private-equity-backed organization.
  • CEBS, SHRM, HRCI, or another HR certification.
