Summary

In this role, we are seeking a Lead Platform Analyst with expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365. This is an individual contributor role that combines hands-on business analysis with leadership responsibilities. The Lead Analyst will define, analyze, and deliver solutions on Dynamics 365 while also mentoring analysts and developers, setting functional standards, and ensuring platform alignment across business areas.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to elicit, analyze, and document detailed business requirements.
• Translate business needs into well-structured user stories, acceptance criteria, and backlog items using Azure DevOps.
• Conduct stakeholder interviews and discovery workshops to assess current-state processes and uncover solution opportunities.
• Perform hands-on configuration and functional analysis across Dynamics 365 Operations, Sales, Service, and Marketing modules.
• Execute gap analyses, solution mapping, and requirements traceability through delivery.
• Facilitate Agile processes, monitor sprint progress, and coach analysts and business partners on best practices.
• Partner with Business Technology Product Owner, QA and business users to execute functional testing, ensuring requirements are met and solutions are usable.
• Own resolution of escalated testing and triage issues, managing cross-system dependencies to keep delivery on track.
• Provide functional ownership across multiple product areas, ensuring solutions are aligned and integrated across teams.
• Mentor and guide analysts and developers, promoting consistency and quality
• Represent the platform in cross-functional forums advocating for alignment and standardization.
• Drive alignment and solutioning discussions within the team; escalate issues when necessary
• Partner closely with the business technology product owners to support prioritization and alignment of enterprise roadmaps.
• Promote continuous improvement in delivery processes, backlog health, and team efficiency.
   

Qualifications

• Relevant degree preferred
• 7 or more years of relevant experience in platform analysis, business analysis, or related roles.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, including real-world implementations and upgrades.
• Strong ability to write detailed, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Experience in Azure DevOps (ADO) or similar tools for backlog management and iteration planning.
• Proven track record facilitating stakeholder engagement, uncovering root needs, and driving solution clarity across product areas with high level stakeholders.
• Proficient in Agile delivery methodologies and the full SDLC.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with both technical and business audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional collaboration efforts across product, engineering, and QA.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience working with one or more of Dynamics 365 Sales, Service, Marketing or Operations modules.
• Healthcare industry or healthcare consulting experience.

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $117,600.00 to $206,000.00.
