Requirements
  • Experience reviewing, interpreting, and analyzing electrical drawings, diagrams, and schematics
  • Experience supporting or conducting test events in laboratory, prototyping, or field environments
  • Knowledge of basic Electrical Engineering principles
  • Ability to develop technical documentation, including 2D technical drawings, 3D models, and written technical documentation
  • Ability to collaborate with an integrated product team, including a variety of technical and non-technical teammates
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree
Responsibilities
  • Develop, design, and test tracking systems for laser and optical systems
  • Design and implement state space models and representations of analog and digital control systems
  • Model, build, integrate, test, and assess laser pointing and tracking systems
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with fabrication, assembly, and integration of electromechanical prototype, maritime, or military systems
  • Experience with printed circuit board (PCB) design
  • Experience in lab-based developmental testing and test data acquisition
  • Experience with Lasers including target illuminators, beacon illuminators, target range finders, high energy lasers, and optical phased arrays
  • Knowledge of product design for manufacturability, reliability, maintainability, and exposure to extreme environments
  • Knowledge of programming, including C or C++
  • Knowledge of the development of embedded systems, including Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) development
  • Ability to effectively communicate concepts, results, and technical information to internal and external audiences, and technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Secret clearance
  • EIT or PE Certification
