Salary Range: 120000 to 165000 (Currency: USD) (Pay period: per-year-salary)
As an integral Electrical EngineeringProject Manager, you will possess experience with Electric Utility engineering projects as you provide support to the process, procedures and documentation for all assigned projects. The PM will identify risks and mitigation tactics on projects as well as drive profitability, quality, and schedule of the substation design projects. The Project Manager will interface with key cross-functional groups (Section Leads, CAD, Financing, etc.), as well as have direct interface with our customers and clients.

What you will do:
- Lead project resource teams assigned to support projects
- Client Interfacing with multiple group organizations
- Maintain positive working relationships between the client and prime consultants.
- Provide documented scope, schedule, deliverables, and budgets
- Provide progress reports, project milestones, scope changes, budget forecasting/analysis, and schedule updates to the team
- Monitor cost accounting, invoicing, and close out of projects
- Ability to manage / lead several simultaneous projects
- Proposal write up / reviews
- Write / Review Change Orders
- Work with team to ensure all required deliverables are prepared, submitted, and tracked.
- Work with our finance group to ensure all invoicing requirements and backup information are set up accordingly
- Coordinate with finance group to confirm invoicing and receiving payments on a timely basis
- In charge of QA/QC on your projects
- Manage Quality, Schedule, and Budget
- Provide project status information to the Managers and team
- Manage Project Budgets along with Project Management
Your background/experience:
- Experience with large utilities such as FirstEnergy, Exelon, Southern Company and alike
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and a minimum of 7 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and demonstrable experience.
- Experience working with clients in the power utility arena specific to Substation and Distribution design is required
- Past experience as a Substation or Distribution Design Electrical Engineer is required.
