Driver

Essential Functions

• Drives to customers location to pick up and/or deliver repairable items
• Provides feedback to customers when making deliveries
• Schedules trucks for routine maintenance
• Prepares paperwork and packages repairs for shipment to Batavia facility. (Regional Sales Office drivers)
• Orders supplies needed for shipping (Regional Sales Office drivers)
• Assists in making pick-up calls (Regional Sales Office drivers)
• Assists in making telemarketing calls into the surrounding areas (Regional Sales Office drivers)
• Aids in keeping the shop clean and organized (Regional Sales Office drivers)
• Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the company’s discretion.

Experience, Education and Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Must possess a valid driver’s license with the ability to qualify for insurance
• Ability to utilize GPS and/or read road maps
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Ability to carry out multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• Must be detail oriented, service minded and willing to work until the job is complete
• Ability to communicate with co-workers, management, vendors, suppliers, and others in a courteous and professional manner
• Regularly required to stand, sit, bend and lift up to 50 pounds minimum
• Previous experience and ability to operate a forklift is preferred
