  • 5-7+ years of B2B business development and partnership experience -- eCommerce / CPG B2B or government procurement experience preferred

  • Strong program management skills to lead end-to-end relationship delivery across key business areas - tech & product, merch, marketing, customer service, etc

  • Exceptional skill in driving results against aggressive timelines, managing multiple priorities and executing flawlessly

  • Embodies teamwork; significant interaction with employees at all levels so ability to influence others is key
  • People leadership experience a plus
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • As needed, assist with the implementation, compliance, and maintenance of Sarbanes Oxley and internal control over financial reporting requirements
  • Develop a robust business development strategy and pipeline, by using data and market insights, as well as your own professional network, to go after new business opportunities. This includes but is not limited to - identifying high impact industry verticals and customers, creating marketing pitch materials, selling in Boxed B2B's core value propositions, and cultivating new B2B partnerships
  • You will need to be comfortable with both inbound lead conversion and outbound prospecting. Experience in deal negotiation and partnership development is required
  • Work closely with internal partners - Merchandising, Product, Marketing, Finance & Accounting, and Legal - to strategically and creatively develop new business constructs
  • Lead and execute on your strategy to convert opportunities into revenue and meet your business goals. You will play a critical role in driving the overall project management of each opportunity
  • Be responsible for managing the after-sale support for select strategic accounts, and work with the Enterprise manager to grow and improve engagement with the existing portfolio of Enterprise customers
  • Use KPIs and customer insights to measure success of partnership initiatives
  • Collaborate with external and internal stakeholders to develop a roadmap of enhancements to maximize our value exchange with the customers
  • Frequently funnel customer insights and feedback back to internal teams to enable smarter business decisions
