Requirements
  • Ability to read & decipher technical aircraft data and/or material required

Responsibilities
  • Provides for the keeping of aircraft records required by the Federal Aviation Administration 121.380 and General Maintenance Manual
  • Maintains electronic file system for each aircraft to include all pertinent maintenance records and flight log pages
  • Ensures that all Aircraft Log pages are accounted for by completing monthly audits
  • Ensures that all Letter Service Check Packages are accounted for by completing monthly audits
  • Maintain/Audit computerized tracking system for hard time and life limited parts
  • Maintain all maintenance records in electronic record keeping system and retrieve requested files in a timely manner upon request
  • Prepares the Aircraft Monthly Utilization Report
  • Assist Analysts in accomplishing their work assignments by training and/or clarifying requirements
  • Assist phase in team to audit/update flight data for new aircraft acquisition prior to purchase or lease
  • Provide training to all new hires
  • Identifies process improvements and recommends enhancements to increase efficiency and accuracy within the department
  • Applies appropriate discretion and judgment to make decisions aligned with departmental priorities and company policies
  • Determines when to act independently versus when issues require escalation to management
  • Accomplishes additional tasks as directed by the Manager Aircraft Records
Desired Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3-4 years experience in an aviation maintenance environment preferred
  • A four-year college degree with an emphasis in Business or Aviation preferred
  • Aviation records experience preferred
  • Trax program experience preferred
