Requirements
  • Proficiency in Python.
  • Familiarity with object-oriented software design and implementation.
  • Hardware and software troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with the Linux operating system; Red Hat Enterprise Linux experience is a plus.
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance, which requires United States citizenship; sponsorship is not available.
Responsibilities
  • Work with system architects to develop product architectures.
  • Develop and facilitate software requirements and test procedures.
  • Design, code, integrate, and test major features of hardware and software products developed by Kranze Technology Solutions using commercial off-the-shelf, industry, and government technology.
  • Work with limited supervision, contribute innovative ideas to improve product capabilities, and lead smaller integration efforts.
  • Effectively communicate problems encountered and the status of ongoing projects or assignments.
Desired Qualifications
  • Familiarity with Python 3.6 and Tkinter.
  • Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, and Bitbucket or other software management tools.
  • Experience in C++ and JavaScript.
  • Experience in user interface and user experience design.
  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux experience.

SPX Technologies has completed its acquisition of Kranze Technology Solutions (KTS), enhancing its Communication Technologies platform. SPX Technologies (NYSE:SPXC) has agreed to acquire Kranze Technology Solutions (KTS) for approximately $350 million in cash. KTS, based in Illinois, specializes in digital interoperability and tactical networking, with strong ties to the US Marine Corps.
