As a Senior DevOps Engineer - Dev Enablement, you’ll play a key role in enhancing developer experience and productivity throughout our growing Engineering organization. In this position, you will design, develop, and maintain tools and workflows that streamline development processes, ensuring efficient and effective engineering practices. This position is ideal for a proactive and innovative DevOps or Software Engineer who is passionate about improving developer workflows and enabling engineering teams to work more efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Designs, develops, and maintains tools and automation solutions that improve the developer experience.
- Builds and manages CI/CD pipelines, ensuring seamless integration and deployment processes.
- Develops and maintains packaging solutions for software components, ensuring easy and consistent distribution across environments.
- Collaborates with software architecture and engineering teams to gather feedback and continuously improve tooling and processes.
- Creates and maintains comprehensive documentation for tools and processes.
- Conducts training sessions and workshops to educate engineering teams on best practices and tool usage.
- Identifies areas for improvement in the developer workflow and implements solutions to address them.
- Stays updated with industry trends and emerging technologies, including AI-based tooling, to continuously enhance the developer experience.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering or DevOps
- Proven experience in building and maintaining development tools and automation solutions
- Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Python, Bash, or JavaScript
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g. CircleCI, GitHub actions)
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
