Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 4 years of related experience in a life science, regulated environment
  • In-depth knowledge of ISO 13485 and 21 CFR Part 820 standards
  • Experience working in a Quality Department/Life Sciences-Regulated environment
  • Knowledge of root cause analysis tools and application
  • Ability to meet deadlines and perform administrative functions
  • Microsoft Office suite proficiency including Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Ability to organize tasks, work independently and adapt to changing priorities
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Demonstrated highly developed communication skills
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, fluently and comprehend the English language
Responsibilities
  • Assist in maintaining established company wide GxP quality systems
  • Participating on the Material Review Board
  • Assist in scheduling, performing, and reporting internal audits
  • Analyze data resulting from monthly metrics and reporting tools
  • Respond to supplier look-back notifications
  • Monitor equipment calibration program
  • Manage the backroom during audits and inspections
  • Support departmental projects aimed at operational process understanding efforts
  • Act as a change-agent and QA lead during continuous improvement efforts
  • Provide guidance to junior level QA specialists
  • Client-facing activities as assigned by department head
  • Create and conduct site-wide training for multiple disciplines
  • Support validation activities
  • Support the maintenance and review of DHF
  • Assist in the QA review and acceptance of customer specifications
  • Generate and maintain label formats for products
  • Inspect and approve product labels
  • Provide support to other departments
  • Collaborate with Project Management
  • Inspect and release incoming raw material
  • Perform batch record review and release
  • Conduct product inspections
