Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
  • Proven experience (8+ years) in finance and accounting roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership position
  • Strong knowledge of financial principles, practices, and regulations
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial analysis, forecasting, and strategic planning

Responsibilities
  • Financial Strategy and Planning:
  • Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with the company's overall objectives
  • Collaborate with the executive team to set financial goals, budgets, and forecasts
  • Conduct financial analysis, risk assessments, and market research to support decision-making
  • Develop forward looking business models including pricing and margin analysis
  • Financial Reporting and Analysis:
  • Proven track record of building and using Business Intelligence to drive business decisions
  • Experience shifting from manual to automated processes, leveraging ERP systems
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements
  • Analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insights to guide management decisions
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to assess the company's financial performance
  • Budgeting and Cost Management:
  • Lead the budgeting process, working closely with department heads to establish financial targets
  • Monitor and control expenses to ensure compliance with approved budgets
  • Identify opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency improvements across the organization
  • Cash Flow Management:
  • Manage the company's cash flow, forecasting short-term and long-term cash requirements
  • Optimize working capital, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and inventory
  • Develop strategies to minimize financial risks related to liquidity
  • Financial Operations and Compliance:
  • Oversee financial operations, including accounting, taxation, treasury, and internal controls
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, laws, and accounting principles
  • Coordinate and manage audits, working closely with external auditors and advisors
  • Financing and Investor Relations:
  • Assess capital structure and financing options to support growth and expansion plans
  • Prepare financial reports and presentations for board meetings
  • Team Leadership and Development:
  • Lead a high-performing finance team, providing guidance and mentorship
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, teamwork, and accountability
