Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or relevant experience
  • Experience developing UI / UX applications in a Python / Django framework
  • Software development experience in a Linux environment
  • Experience developing user facing web applications
  • Experience in the Agile Scrum development process
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement new Python and Django UI components and user facing applications defined by the design team into the development, testing, and production environments for the product
  • Collaborate with the development team to integrate these user facing applications into the existing backend components and APIs
  • Become familiar with US Web Design System styling guidelines and leverage best practices to implement styling into the web UI applications
  • Produce CSS supplements to augment existing NCBI and USWDS CSS templates
  • Produce documentation detailing the applications user workflow
