Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in K12 education preferred
  • Two years sales experience including conducting customer presentations, making outbound calls, and engaging in email & social media outreach
  • Previous experience working with a Customer Relations Management (CRM) system
  • Demonstrated experience with developing and maintaining client relationships
Responsibilities
  • Responsible for growing long-term customer relationships within assigned territory
  • Identifying key contacts, conducting customer meetings, and closing sales within assigned territory
  • Building multiple relationships within a customer account to expand existing programs and adding new implementations
  • Navigating multiple steps in the sales process to influence high-level decision-makers
  • Maintaining proficiency in Edmentum products and services and positioning them against the competition
  • Assessing and analyzing customer needs to identify appropriate solutions
  • Preparing and delivering strategic sales presentations
  • Staying informed on federal, state, and local funding options
  • Maintaining accurate information in CRM (Salesforce.com) to track sales activity and produce accurate forecasts
  • Fulfilling and maintaining Request for Proposal (RFP) information and questions
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and work processes throughout the selling process
  • Producing accurate and timely forecasts as required by management
