Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in K12 education preferred
- Two years sales experience including conducting customer presentations, making outbound calls, and engaging in email & social media outreach
- Previous experience working with a Customer Relations Management (CRM) system
- Demonstrated experience with developing and maintaining client relationships
Responsibilities
- Responsible for growing long-term customer relationships within assigned territory
- Identifying key contacts, conducting customer meetings, and closing sales within assigned territory
- Building multiple relationships within a customer account to expand existing programs and adding new implementations
- Navigating multiple steps in the sales process to influence high-level decision-makers
- Maintaining proficiency in Edmentum products and services and positioning them against the competition
- Assessing and analyzing customer needs to identify appropriate solutions
- Preparing and delivering strategic sales presentations
- Staying informed on federal, state, and local funding options
- Maintaining accurate information in CRM (Salesforce.com) to track sales activity and produce accurate forecasts
- Fulfilling and maintaining Request for Proposal (RFP) information and questions
- Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and work processes throughout the selling process
- Producing accurate and timely forecasts as required by management
