Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or similar area
  • 5-10+ years of financial planning or financial strategy ownership for business operations
  • Proven track record in financial analysis, including the ability to create financial models, interpret financial data, assess trends, and make data-driven recommendations
  • Experience with effectively presenting financial information to diverse stakeholders, including investors, board members, the executive team, and functional areas

Responsibilities
  • Oversee all financial operations, including but not limited to budgeting, forecasting, general accounting, accounts receivable/payable, cash flow, variance analysis, and tax compliance
  • Collaborate with the executive team to develop financial and operational strategies to manage cash flow and maximize business and strategic impact
  • Conduct financial analysis in multiple areas of the business, and present financial reports to stakeholders on an ongoing basis to support informed decision-making, including preparing materials for management, board meetings, potential fundraising activities, etc.
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks to protect organizational assets
  • Advise leadership and partners on strategic finance by supporting priorities and providing a forward-looking lens for the business
  • Work closely with all major departments (e.g., sales, HR, product, etc.) to understand and analyze financial impacts to the overall business
