Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience interpreting and/or enforcing contract terms and conditions
  • 3+ years of experience researching and analyzing data
  • Experience managing multiple high-volume, complex, concurrent projects
  • Intermediate Excel & PowerPoint capabilities
Responsibilities
  • Serve as a Boeing Designated Expert on Supplier Cost Recovery Claims
  • Work with internal stakeholders (Supply chain, Law Department, Estimating, Finance, Program and others) to determine impacts caused by supplier non-performance and develop supplier cost recovery claims
  • Review supplier contracts and terms and conditions to determine Boeing’s rights and remedies regarding potential cost recovery claims
  • Investigate, review, and analyze data to calculate material and non-material costs to form the basis of recovery claims
  • Review cost recovery estimates for accuracy using approved cost recovery rates, factors, and models
  • Develop a claim analysis and summary, outlining key points of a potential claim, including Boeing’s rights and remedies, key events, and potential issues for legal, program, and supply chain review
  • Partner with supply chain to ensure cost recovery claim summaries are easy to understand, explain, and pursue
  • Participate in leadership and supplier reviews, as required
  • Represent the company in external negotiations with suppliers related to cost recovery claims, as needed
  • Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, and partners
Desired Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Juris Doctorate or Certified Public Accountant (or equivalents)
  • 3+ years working in estimating, engineering, supply chain, and/or cost recovery
  • Experience with material estimates, cost analysis, basis of estimates
