- At least three years of tree climbing, including Double Rope Technique or Single Rope Technique, and aerial lift experience in the tree care industry.
- A valid driver's license and a clean motor vehicle record.
- The ability to pass a criminal background check.
- The ability to work outdoors year-round in all weather conditions.
- Experience safely performing arboriculture services and operating hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts.
- Safely perform and supervise all aspects of arboriculture, including pruning, cabling and bracing, rigging, and removals.
- Properly maintain and operate hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts.
- Supervise and manage crews while performing tree care services, as directed by the Arborist Representative and Local Manager.
- Ensure that each crew member is trained appropriately for each designated job assignment.
- Ensure that all tree care work is performed in accordance with industry and company standards.
- Communicate with clients, answer questions, and build client relationships.
- A Class B commercial driver's license is preferred.
Bartlett Tree Experts provides tree and shrub care for residential and commercial properties. Services include inventory management, pruning, fertilization, insect and disease suppression, soil management, lightning protection, cabling and bracing, and removals. How it works: skilled arborists assess trees and shrubs, then apply tailored treatments and maintenance—pruning to shape and improve health, fertilization and soil management to nourish roots, pest and disease control to protect vigor, lightning protection and cabling/bracing for risk mitigation, and removals when needed.
