JMA Wireless is looking for a Junior Software QA Engineer to join our team in beautiful Boulder, CO.
As a Junior Software QA Engineer, you will be responsible for testing 4G and 5G Element Manager and Network Management Solutions. Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive test automation framework to benchmark the accuracy, consistency, and performance of LTE and 5G management solutions.
Responsibilities
- Generate comprehensive test reports for internal and external consumption.
- Support manual QA testing efforts.
- Participate in Agile Scrum to inject quality into the entire software delivery lifecycle.
- Report, track, and manage any discovered defects to resolution.
Minimum Requirements
- 0-1 year of experience or New Grad.
- Basic understanding Linux (CentOS 7 or 8) including SSH, TCP/UDP.
- Familiar with Jira and Confluence.
- Basic understanding of Virtualization with VMWare, KVM, Kubernetes.
- Basic understanding of 4G & 5G technologies.
- Bachelor’s Degree or Higher in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, or other applicable field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Object Oriented Programming (OOP) methodologies and design patterns.
- Experience with SQL and database normalization.
- TM4J – Jira Test Management software.
- Knowledge of Perl and Python scripting languages.
- Self-starter, detail oriented and process driven.
- Desire to learn the wireless industry and help JMA grow technology.
