Senior Electrical Designer
Seurat is seeking a senior electrical designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have SolidWorks Electrical or AutoCAD Electrical experience managing electrical documentation.

Duties & Responsibilities

Manage all electrical schematic documentation to ensure consistency and accuracy across all projects and designers.
Develop electrical templates to help provide consistency for electrical projects.
Develop manufacturing and assembly documentation templates.
Accurately capture and maintain electrical and control schematics and panel layouts for complex systems using Solidworks Electrical & Solidworks.

Required Qualifications

B.S. degree in Electrical, Robotics Engineering, or related.
5+ Years of relevant work experience.
Experience with SolidWorks Electrical, AutoCAD Electrical, or similar CAD applications.
Experience with control components, such as I/O modules, (safety) relays, power supplies, breakers, DIN rail components, etc.
Knowledge of electrical/controls redundant, fail-safe design practices.
Familiarity with CE certification requirements.
Familiarity with NFPA79, UL508A, or similar electrical standards.
Experience working in a fast paced, dynamic start-up environment managing competing priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

M.S. degree in Electrical, Robotics Engineering, or related.
Strong background in Mechatronics.
Experience with servo motors and feedback control systems.
Familiarity with Beckhoff (Safety) PLC & EtherCAT I/O, Yaskawa or similar servo systems.
Familiarity with PC-based / rack-mount control systems.
Familiarity with IEC 61131-3 languages, including safety.
