Requirements
  • Completed vocational training or degree in a healthcare field, such as nursing, healthcare and nursing, medical documentation, medical information management, medical coding, or a comparable qualification.
  • Several years of professional experience in a clinical environment, ideally in transplant medicine, hematology/oncology, intensive care medicine, or a comparable area.
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills, with the ability to remain calm and work in a structured manner in critical situations.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, a confident manner when interacting with internal and external partners, and empathy when working with patients and relatives.
  • Proficiency with digital documentation systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Good spoken and written German.
  • Compliance with applicable proof requirements under the German Infection Protection Act as a condition of employment.
Responsibilities
  • Organize and coordinate stem cell transplants and cell therapies, including all logistical processes from donor and recipient assessment through therapy.
  • Collaborate closely within the transplant team, including senior physicians, resident physicians, medical assistants, and nursing staff.
  • Serve as the interface and point of contact for transplant-related topics between intensive care units, outpatient clinics, other specialist departments, and external partners.
  • Ensure guideline-compliant list management and case documentation in internal clinical systems, registries, and databases.
  • Contribute to creating, implementing, and continuously improving internal standards, standard operating procedures, and processes in cell therapy, including quality assurance.
  • Advise, inform, and support patients and relatives throughout the transplant process, including education, preparation, and coordination of follow-up care.
  • Contribute to continuing education, professional development, and internal educational and public-information activities concerning cell therapy.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in transplant medicine, hematology/oncology, intensive care medicine, or a comparable area.
  • English-language skills.
