Requirements
  • PhD or PsyD in psychology/school psychology/neuropsychology or related field
  • Licensed or Eligible for Licensure in West Virginia and through PsyPact
  • Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments
  • Excellent writing, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong work ethic
  • Highest professional and ethical standards
  • For appointment at the Associate Professor or Professor rank, a demonstrated track record of leadership, excellent communication skills, and publications in high-impact journals are required; a rank of Professor also requires substantial evidence of a national or international reputation in your clinical specialty as well as board certification.
Responsibilities
  • Conducting psychoeducational and other assessments as part of a highly collaborative interdisciplinary clinical team
  • Authoring comprehensive reports
  • Collaborating with colleagues across disciplines to communicate evaluation findings to guide treatment
  • Involvement with our well-known, training-focused APA-accredited clinical psychology internship and our Neurodevelopmental/Pediatric Neuropsychology fellowship

  • Familiarity with a broad range of assessment tools
  • Experience in the diagnosis and treatment of autism spectrum disorder (ASD)
  • Experience with managing challenging behaviors
  • Strong interest in neuroscience
