Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
  • At least 10 years of experience in pre-sales and sales support, with a focus on the supply chain software industry
  • Strong technical and product expertise in the supply chain software industry
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to present complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner
Responsibilities
  • Accountable for creating operational efficiency for the Solution Advisory team.
  • Communicates strategy for the Solution Advisory team while working closely with direct reports to ensure proper implementation, follow-up, and follow-through of strategy.
  • Conducts and develops the team to conduct effective discovery sessions with customer prospects.
  • Coordinates and executes sales consulting activities.
  • Defines and convincingly communicates Blue Yonder's product value proposition.
  • Defines the general messaging and presentation of the vision, specific sales cycle messaging, demo development, and competitive intelligence.
  • Delivers and assists the team in delivering highly skilled sales consulting presentations to customer prospects.
  • Develops and maintains strong working relationships with all functions of Blue Yonder to effectively drive the achievement of goals.
  • Develops strong long-term industry and client relationships that cultivate business opportunities.
  • Facilitates workflow by utilizing or developing internal systems.
  • Interfaces regularly with customers and prospective customers to discuss their needs and the long-term value of Blue Yonder solutions.
  • Monitors and reports key information and metrics to management and meets Solution Advisory quotas.
  • Performs research, understands, and disseminates competitive intelligence to the team, and aids in incorporating this information into sales cycles.
  • Prioritizes demos, pre-meeting coordination, meeting agendas, and post-meeting follow-up activities.
  • Prioritizes field issues and ensures effective resolution.
  • Provides consolidation and analysis of wins/losses.
  • Provides personal growth and development opportunities to Solution Advisory Consultants to achieve professional excellence.
  • Recruits, manages, motivates, and retains an experienced world-class Solution Advisory team.
  • Responsible for the quality and innovation of sales presentations and for building the framework surrounding all related activities to ensure scalability and success.
  • Reviews and is familiar with product documentation.
  • Sets and reviews both quarterly and annual goals and objectives for all Solution Advisory team members.
  • Shares best practices, proven business processes, and apprises customers of new Blue Yonder solutions that will drive growth within their business.
  • Successfully manages, guides, and engages the Solution Advisory Consultants to effectively present Blue Yonder solutions' functionality and its compelling value proposition based on ROI cost/benefit analysis.
  • Understands product vision, direction, integration points, and future product enhancements.

The company unveiled significant enhancements to its Demand and Supply Planning and Warehouse Management solutions, introducing AI-driven capabilities including insight-driven scenario planning and the Inventory Ops Agent for proactive decision-making.
