Sika lifted its sales outlook, even as FX bit. Market-share gains helped the Swiss construction chemicals group raise its full-year local-currency growth range to 3%-6% while trimming its EBITDA margin view. about 1 hour ago - 2 mins What's going on here? Sika raised its full-year sales outlook after a stronger first half, even as the Swiss franc made reported revenue look weaker. What does this mean? Sika, a Swiss construction-chemicals maker whose additives help strengthen and waterproof buildings, said first-half sales slipped 1.5% to 5.59 billion Swiss francs. But that drop was mostly currency translation: in local currencies, sales grew 4%, beating the Visible Alpha consensus of 5.44 billion Swiss francs. This service focuses on the long-standing pain points of mold and blackening of anti-mold adhesives and latex paint in humid environments, and was the first to launch a guarantee promise of "free replacement for mold within one year." Currently, this service has provided mold prevention protection to nearly 100,000 Chinese household users and has gained widespread recognition. Consumers only need to purchase the "365-day worry-free mold-proof" label from JD's self-operated storeGlassGenuine adhesive or latex paint, under the premise of compliant construction and normal home use, can apply for a free replacement if the product shows mold spots, blackening, or other quality issues caused by insufficient anti-mold performance, truly achieving "one-click replacement and worry-free after-sales." Mold in damp areas of the home has always been a common issue for everyoneHome decorationPain points. Kitchens, bathrooms, and balconies accumulate moisture year-round, and ordinary sealants and walls are also affectedCoatingsIt easily breeds mold, not only ruining the appearance of home decoration and fostering harmful bacteria that affect home health. Self-scraping, repainting, and applying sealant also consume a lot of time, money, and manpower, significantly increasing the cost of post-renovation maintenance. This time, JD.com's collaboration with leading industry brands for deep co-construction services directly addresses users' core pain points at home, breaking beyond the simple logic of product sales to provide exclusive guarantees for the home renovation user experience, thereby reducing household mold prevention and maintenance costs from the source. According to the "365-Day Worry-Free Mold Prevention" service rule, this protection officially takes effect on the 31st day after the order is completed, meaning users can apply for replacement between the 31st and 365th day after the order is completed. If any issues arise within the first 30 days after order completion, users may still apply for handling according to the regular after-sales rules. It is worth noting that issues such as wall water seepage, leakage, moisture return, base layer not dry, long-term water accumulation, poor ventilation, improper construction, improper cleaning and maintenance, human damage, abnormal use, or other issues not caused by the product itself such as mold or blackening are not covered by the coverage. Consumers can submit applications through the product order after-sales portal or the extended warranty order application portal, which is very simple. Notably, JD.com's "365-Day Worry-Free Mold Prevention" also comes with a complete visualized after-sales process, ensuring consumers have clear and evidence-based access during repair, review, and replacement, saving money, effort, and worry. This time, JD Building Materials has partnered with several leading brands to launch the "365-Day Worry-Free Mold Prevention," not only providing consumers with tangible usage guarantees and effectively reducing hidden costs of post-maintenance home decoration, but also marking an important exploration in the industry's transformation from "selling products" to "selling services."
