Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 4 years of experience in education technology, selling enterprise software, account management, or a related field.
  • Experience presenting to and building relationships with various stakeholders at academic institutions or enterprises.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute the go-to-market strategy for Gemini in Higher Education in an assigned market.
  • Own key results for strategic adoption within assigned accounts, including programs that demonstrate quantifiable value and training that supports Gemini adoption across users.
  • Identify and directly engage key stakeholders at academic institutions in the assigned territory.
  • Advise faculty and departments on building and executing roadmaps for integrating artificial intelligence into teaching.
  • Identify sector stakeholders that can enable Gemini adoption in Higher Education, including university associations, frameworks, and leadership groups.
  • Act as a thought leader across the Higher Education sector.
  • Synthesize and relay customer feedback to influence the future Gemini in Education product roadmap.
  • Collaborate with teams across Google to ensure an aligned strategy supporting universities.
  • Manage a defined portfolio of universities and colleges within the territory as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor.
  • Build ecosystem partnerships in the sector that support Gemini expansion.
  • Foster meaningful Gemini adoption demonstrating value for teaching, learning, and research.
  • Build relationships with university leadership, faculty, department heads, and information technology leaders.
  • Provide customer feedback to internal teams to help shape the product roadmap and refine the playbook for scaling Gemini adoption.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with artificial intelligence, machine learning, or other transformative technologies.
  • Experience supporting technology adoption and change-management initiatives with customers.
  • Experience building innovative thought-leadership programs in the education space.
  • Good understanding of the Higher Education sector, including its unique challenges and decision-making processes.
  • Strategic thinking, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • A track record of successfully executing go-to-market strategies and meeting or exceeding targets.
