Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree and 10 years of experience related to Department of Defense (DoD) business, programs, or operational experience
  • Experience working with APG and the program offices located there
  • Business development, strategy, capture, or program management experience
  • Knowledge of DoD acquisition, requirements, and budget policies and processes
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance
Responsibilities
  • Manage business development activities at Aberdeen Proving Grounds (APG) to generate leads, create / shape and prioritize new business opportunities to achieve the growth goals of the operating unit
  • Assist in creating, maintaining, and implementing an APG customer engagement strategy and senior customer visit plan for military, government, and industry leadership
  • Collaborate with adjacent Northrop Grumman offices on growth strategies and develop inputs for the broader sector and corporate strategy
  • Manage the operating unit’s pipeline and market data
  • Prioritize and develop (with team support) marketing content for the operating unit
  • Act as primary Aberdeen Proving Ground contact for key operating unit customer DOD program offices
  • Interface with the business unit and division team and assure alignment of priorities
