Job Description:
The Accreditation Scheme Director is responsible for overseeing and managing the accreditation processes within the energy efficiency sector. This role ensures compliance with industry standards, enhances operational efficiency, and supports the organization’s strategic goals. Working with the UK MD and Senior Management Team in supporting and driving organisational goals, divisional strategy and growth ambitions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Management:
- Lead and manage the accreditation team, providing guidance and support.
- Develop and implement accreditation policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Deliver against annual revenue targets and support achievement of group profitability targets.
- Ensure effective recruiting, onboarding, development, performance management and retention of team members.
- Support development of our people to provide career direction, career growth and effective succession planning.
- Operational Oversight:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the accreditation process.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate accreditation activities.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of accreditation programs.
- Ensure team are aligned to plans and expedite tasks successfully to achieve goals and deliver high levels of team engagement.
- Quality Assurance:
- Develop and maintain quality assurance systems to ensure high standards.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement.
- Implement corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Oversee external audits from Government and their agents.
- Strategic Planning:
- Contribute to the development of strategic plans related to accreditation.
- Identify opportunities for innovation and process improvement.
- Identify new market opportunities to extend the scope and services provided by the Scheme.
- Align accreditation activities with the organization’s wider strategic objectives.
- Support CoreLogic UK merger and acquisition activities.
- Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare and present reports on accreditation activities and outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of accreditation processes.
- Ensure transparency and accountability in all accreditation activities.
- Ensure compliance with all scheme reporting requirements set by Government and their agents
Job Qualifications:
- Experience:
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in accreditation, quality assurance, and/or the energy efficiency sector.
- Proven track record of managing project delivery and leading teams.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools.
- Personal Attributes:
- Understanding of business planning and strategy development.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong ethical standards and integrity.
