Requirements
  • At least 10 years of B2B marketing experience, including 5 to 7 years owning demand generation or growth marketing, preferably in SaaS or technology.
  • Experience at Seed through Series B startups where you were among the first marketing hires, built programs from 0 to 1, and scaled them.
  • A proven track record of driving pipeline and revenue growth with concrete examples of campaigns or programs that increased qualified leads and bookings.
  • Experience marketing to healthcare or complex B2B buyers with long sales cycles, multiple stakeholders, and specific regulatory considerations.
  • A strong analytical and data-driven approach, including experience building dashboards, tracking attribution, and optimizing campaigns based on performance metrics.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a portfolio demonstrating the ability to create positioning, messaging, and content across formats.
  • The ability to prioritize multiple projects, work with limited resources, and deliver results without a large team.
  • Comfort working in ambiguous, fast-paced environments and building from scratch without complete information.
Responsibilities
  • Own and scale the full demand generation engine from top-of-funnel awareness through qualified pipeline, including paid acquisition, content marketing, events, partnerships, and email campaigns.
  • Build and execute integrated campaigns that drive marketing-qualified leads, sales-qualified leads, and pipeline growth across multiple home healthcare segments.
  • Develop and evolve Axle Health’s brand positioning and messaging to establish category leadership in AI-powered home healthcare operations.
  • Create a customer evangelism program by identifying, nurturing, and activating early adopters and anchor clients as advocates, references, and case study participants.
  • Establish marketing operations and analytics infrastructure to track campaign performance, attribution, and return on investment, and build repeatable processes that scale.
  • Produce website copy, case studies, whitepapers, sales enablement materials, and thought leadership content for healthcare operators and decision-makers.
  • Partner with Sales on ideal customer profile definition, messaging, lead qualification criteria, and campaign effectiveness, and optimize the marketing-to-sales handoff.
  • Own the digital presence, including website optimization, search engine optimization strategy, social media, and paid channels.
  • Drive category creation through thought leadership, industry partnerships, speaking opportunities, and public relations.
  • Test, learn, and iterate on channels, messaging, and tactics using a growth-oriented, data-driven approach.
  • Build the foundation for a future marketing team by establishing processes, tools, and playbooks that enable scale.
Desired Qualifications
  • Direct experience in home healthcare, healthcare operations, or healthcare workforce technology.
  • Background in category creation or launching new product categories where you educated the market and created demand where it did not previously exist.
  • Customer marketing or community building experience focused on turning customers into advocates, building user communities, or launching customer advisory boards.
  • Experience managing agencies or contractors to extend capacity without full-time headcount.
  • A track record of speaking, participating in panels, or hosting industry events that drive brand awareness and pipeline.
  • Familiarity with HubSpot, LinkedIn Ads, Google Analytics, and marketing automation or attribution tools, or willingness to learn quickly.

Axle Health coordinates in-home medical visits by deploying a network of clinicians (RNs, LPNs, medical assistants, and phlebotomists) and using a proprietary logistics platform to connect patients with providers for home care. Clinicians travel to patients' homes to perform exams, basic nursing tasks, and phlebotomy as arranged. The platform handles scheduling, dispatch, tracking, and management of each visit, giving clients real-time visibility into progress and helping reduce missed appointments. By negotiating pricing with labs and suppliers and serving telehealth companies, health systems, payors, and researchers, Axle Health aims to lower costs and expand access to in-home care.

What believers are saying

  • Axle raised $10 million from F-Prime, Y Combinator, Pear VC, and Lightbank in 2025.
  • The company says it is hiring in Santa Monica, signaling expansion after Series A.
  • Cityblock's 2025 results support broader demand for AI routing in home-based care.

What critics are saying

  • WellSky, Homecare Homebase, and AlayaCare bundle scheduling with documentation and billing.
  • Axle's 22-person team faces enterprise-sales pressure against far larger incumbents in 2026.
  • If scheduling remains siloed, customers standardize on integrated suites and Axle loses relevance.

What makes Axle Health unique

  • Former Uber operators built Axle around routing and scheduling logistics, not generic home-health software.
  • Axle claims 17%+ clinician productivity gains and 70%+ less manual scheduling work.
  • Cityblock used Axle in 2025 to raise completed home visits across markets.
