Position Reports to: Retail Manager/Sr. Manager, Retail Floor Supervisor

Location: Crystal Mountain, WA 

Wage Range: $20.00-22.00

This position is not eligible for employee housing.

Job Summary

As a Retail Associate at Crystal Mountain Outfitters, you will provide exceptional guest service while assisting customers with purchases, restocking merchandise, and maintaining a clean, organized retail environment. You’ll be responsible for operating the point-of-sale system, sharing product knowledge, and ensuring guests have a positive shopping experience. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a friendly, team-oriented attitude in a fast-paced mountain resort setting.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Provide customer services by addressingguests' needs and guiding them regarding their options for purchase.

Has vision to create captivating displays through high traffic areas and maximizes sales opportunities.

Merchandising and store preparedness during slower periods.

Maximize opportunities by restocking as needed, providing input about inventory levels, and attending store clinics to increaseproduct knowledge.

Contributes to a safe work environment by following safety practices and keeping the overall store appearance clean, neat, and orderly.

Safety and security awareness and protocol as well as store return policies.

Communicates supply needs with supervisory team and learns where backstock is located.

Complete daily opening and closing procedures and daily duties provided by manager and/or supervisor.

Visits other venues to perform the aboveduties.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS, AND QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma/GED.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Highly organized and detail oriented.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Demonstrated ability to adapt and grow.

Ability to work in a self-directed environment.

Background in hospitality industry preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS

This position requires you to work evenings, weekends, and holidaysthroughout the winter season.

Able to lift, carry, or otherwise move and position a minimum of 40 pounds on an occasional basis.

Auditory and visual acuity to operate computers, mobile devices, and basic office equipment on a constant basis.

Ability to work for extended periods of time standing, walking, kneeling, pushing, and pulling on an occasional basis.

Has the ability to talk,listen and ask questionsin the process of communicating with guests, supervisors, and other employees.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation.
