Requirements
  • Proven experience (12+ years) in leading corporate communications during periods of rapid company growth, transformation, or crisis in a senior leadership role, ideally in a technology or SaaS company.
  • Strong ability to distill complex business concepts into clear, compelling narratives and multi-channel communication strategies.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to capture the voice of the leadership team.
  • Experience in crisis communications and reputation management.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, with strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Demonstrated success in partnering with C-suite executives to develop strategic communications that align with corporate goals.
  • Have a high EQ with the ability to communicate across a broad range of audiences and levels and to build and nurture cross-functional relationships—all with a high degree of professionalism, empathy, and respect.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, execute, and lead a comprehensive global communications strategy aligned with AlphaSense’s OKRs, brand story, and values.
  • Oversee media relations strategy to increase AlphaSense’s visibility in key markets and sectors. Oversee agency partners.
  • Advise and support the entire executive team, including the CEO, on external engagements, media interviews, speeches, written content, as well as internal communications, ensuring clarity and consistency in messaging.
  • Ensure clear, engaging, and consistent communication with employees across the organization, identifying the right cadence, channels, and messaging to motivate and engage employees.
  • Lead the communications team, providing guidance, feedback, and development opportunities to foster their growth and ensure alignment with overall communications strategy.
  • Lead crisis communication efforts, providing clear and decisive leadership to mitigate risk and protect AlphaSense’s reputation during sensitive situations.
  • Oversee the development of high-quality written content from the company and the executive team, including press releases, blogs, and social media posts.
  • Establish metrics to measure the effectiveness of comms initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives and quickly adjusting strategies as needed.
