  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related discipline required.
  • E.I.T (or desire to obtain P.E. in the future) preferred.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, Synchro, GIS, and Microsoft Office products is preferred but not required.
  • Demonstrated ability to work and collaborate in a team environment on challenging projects.
  • Willingness to be adaptable to office and field tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written - e-mails, project memos, reports, etc.)
  • Detailed, and organized individual who thrives in environments that are deadline driven.
Responsibilities
  • Collect and assimilate data and perform analysis of traffic and safety-related operations projects.
  • Develop traffic and safety engineering proposed solutions under direction of others.
  • Develop improvement concept plans.
  • Organize analysis to be included in reports to clientele, following agency standards.
  • Perform field or site visits as needed.
  • Willingness to work at client sites, under the supervision of clientele.
  • Develop cursory knowledge of applicable standards and use of applicable CADD and Microsoft software.
